Take a hold of your life

For those, who don't know me, my name is Life. I am owned by you and you only. You are never to give me away to anyone for any reason what so ever. You can put me depending on something like love or future but don't ever expect too much of me, even I can't do everything you like. Not every plan and every dream can become true by me. So that I can make you happy, you need to treat me well and with respect, because as long as you shall live, you are only going to have one of my kind. I will give you a path, a path that you should stay on. I will keep it up for you to walk on, but you are the one to keep it going. With me comes love, laughter, smiles, light, happiness, memories, tears, loss, obstacles, betrayal, sadness, loneliness...everything. During happy moments you need to enjoy them, because they are the things that keep you and me going. Good things help me keep your path up and bad moments and feelings make me stronger as long as they don't kill you. With me you will have to learn respect, love and faith. You have to embrace yourself for bad times. The bigger the obstacle is, the higher you have to jump to get over it. The higher you jump, the stronger you get. The stronger you get, the better path you will get. So come on! Take a hold of me. Bring others into me, our own Life. Keep them walking your path with you, by your side and I promise, if you take good care of me, I take good care of you even if you and I will never be perfect.
